Containers can suggest dwellings or figures, and several of the pieces refer to some kind of human interaction. Early works were made of painted hardware cloth, sewn with steel wire, and were meant to stand outside in clusters, a transparent family where landscape and form were interwoven. More recent needlepoint constructions are also containers of landscape.
